Last weekend we vacationed in Lake Chelan, and my husband caught eight fish from the shore! We only ended up keeping three...two trout that we shared for lunch and one Chinook salmon that was maybe four or five pounds. We ate it the night after we got home. It was delicious!

So the food was technically free, not counting the cost of gas to get to Chelan, lodging, fishing equipment and the beers Peter drank in between catching fish!
